OUR WINES

At Moothi Estate we've got one goal - to make the best wine possible. In 2002, winemaker Drew Tuckwell produced our first vintage and label, Moothi Mud. We started small, only producing a Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon in the first year. We went on to add a Merlot in 2003 and have been expanding our range ever since. Along with Shiraz, Cabernet and Merlot, we now offer two perfectly balanced red blends, as well as Chardonnay, Semillon and Botrytis Semillon. Drew has since left Mudgee and we were lucky enough to acquire the services of Michael Slater as our new winemaker. Michael has just produced our 2011 vintage which includes a Rosé, Semillon and our very first vintage of Riesling. Follow the links below to read tasting notes for all our wines by variety.
