CELLAR DOOR

The Moothi Estate cellar door sits atop the vineyard and provides breathtaking views over the valley and surrounding ranges. Officially opened in September 2006, it features a large tasting area with indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the vines, as well as local produce and hand-made jewellery. Visitors can expect a warm welcome from the Moore family, who delight in sharing their passion for all things wine and Mudgee. Situated on Rocky Waterhole Road and along 'The Eastern Trail' - which also includes Clearview Estate and Burrundulla Vineyards. For a day of fun, food, wine and a little education thrown in, join the 'Progressive Lunch' with Mudgee Wine and Country Tours. Start here at Moothi Estate with morning tea followed by wine tasting. Move onto Bunnamagoo for a winery tour and talk with tastings and then sit down to a delectable lunch at Sajos in the heart of town. Wine and cheese matching is in the afternoon at Huntington Estate and cap off your day with beer tastings and/or coffee and tea at the Mudgee Brewing Co.
