This is our first vintage of ‘Waters’.
The wine has a mid-straw colour with bright green hues.
The aroma is a lovely mix of ripe Chardonnay fruit such as grapefruit, kiwi and fresh pineapple with underlying support from fully integrated French oak showing as cashew nuts and a hint of vanilla.
The palate shows freshness, complexity and balance. Vibrant fresh fruit flavours are to the fore. The middle palate shows some lovely creamy texture from barrel fermentation and yeast lees contact. The palate finishes with some nutty, bread flavours and is dry and balanced with very good length.
It is an alluring, refreshing wine that is ready to drink now or will cellar over two to three years.

Our second Chardonnay Vintage was hand-harvested.
The wine has a mid-straw colour with bright green hues.
The aroma shows typical chardonnay varietal character of pineapple, preserved peaches, with some citrus lift.
The oak influence is restrained showing as background cashew nut with vanillin highlights.
On the palate, the flavours are dominated by classic chardonnay fruit with very well integrated oak and some additional creamy texture from barrel fermentation. The finish of the wine shows freshness; with a cleansing citrus linger adding length.
It is a refreshing wine that is ready to drink now or will cellar well for two to three years.
