Cellar Door

Just a few minutes from town you’ll find yourself at the newly renovated Moothi Estate cellar door, overlooking the vines with breathtaking views across the Mudgee region.

Along with a selection of award winning, estate grown wines we offer a delectable menu of tasting plates and small bites. Our dedication to locally inspired food ensures a diverse menu featuring both regional products and in-house made delicacies.

From freshly grown produce to delicious cheeses, meats and accompaniments, we offer a casual and seasonal approach to dining. From late November to mid-December we celebrate the harvest of our estate grown cherries by including them in the menu and offering them for sale at the Cellar door. We have air-conditioned indoor seating and heated outdoor seating for the cooler months.

Pop in for a tasting, relax on the deck with a glass of wine or locally made beer or drop anchor for the afternoon and enjoy a long, lazy lunch with the vineyard and Mudgee as your stunning backdrop.

We serve food 7 days a week and we take orders up to half an hour before closing time. Bookings recommended on weekends and for larger groups. We often find ourselves busy on weekends so please allow plenty of time for service.

Our menu has been slightly reduced for a few weeks of winter. Check back for new and exciting items later in August


Just Peckish Plate $15

For those who are looking for a small snack, it consists of vintage cheddar, High Valley chilli fetta, fig paste, dukkah with olive oil plus fresh bread and crackers.

Cheese Plate $28

Features High Valley pesto fetta, a full flavoured vintage cheddar, creamy Australian brie and freshly grilled haloumi. Served with crusty bread, crackers, walnuts, fresh pear and raisins. 

Ploughman's Lunch Platter $35

With shaved smoked ham and salami, High Valley pesto fetta, full flavoured vintage cheddar, olives and sliced dill pickle served with salad greens, crusty bread and crackers

Antipasto Platter $40

With shaved smoked ham and salami, house-made pastrami, grilled chorizo, High Valley pesto fetta, vintage cheddar, creamy brie, roasted red peppers and olives served with salad greens, flatbread and crackers
